About Us
Rick Jackson, M.D.
'Doc', as he is affectionately called by his patients, established Ashbrook Medical Family Practice in 1983, a place where his dedication and patient-focused style would create an atmosphere of compassion, professionalism, and heart that embraces each patient with every treatment. He later established Ashbrook Aesthetics to provide medical-spa services with the latest in medical laser technology and cosmetic injectables utilizing both artistry and precision.
Doc has a passion for performing and recording music, both singing and playin bass guitar, and was honored to be invited to sing at the iconic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. He and Jeanine, his beautiful wife of over 40 years, are very active in the lives of their three grown children and nine amazing grandchildren.
Jeanine Jackson
Jeanine is Dr. Jackson's wife. Once upon a time she was a brilliant dental hygienist, and now she is the proud owner of Ashbrook Aesthetics with her husband.
Jeanine is also a counselor in our Wild Branch Counseling Center (located in our office) and is certified as a Grief Recovery Method specialist where she has a gentle hand in encouraging people to see their value and help them sort out the challenges of life. She has a heart for finding beauty in all things, as well as an unequivocal ability to find the witty pun. She will always find time to enjoy her three grown and very talented children, and loves being a grandma to her nine beautiful grandchildren.
Shawna
Shawna is the team leader of Ashbrook Aesthetics as well as a master esthetician. She loves having clients’ visits be a relaxing, fun, and educational experience, while thoroughly enjoying creating custom treatment plans to help clients achieve their aesthetic goals with real and lasting results. Shawna is an amazing wife and mother of three adult children and two incredible grandchildren. In addition to being a comic genius, she also enjoys a brilliant creative side with singing and writing. She has joined forces with Dr. Jackson on occasion in a musical concert treat to help raise money and awareness for our local Veterans Court.
Kandida
Kandida is a medical esthetician, certified laser technician, and award winning competition nail technician. She has always had a passion for helping others see and reach their potential. Her sometimes quiet but mostly sassy southern demeanor is quite relaxing while she helps each client find their individual uniqueness & beauty. Kandida and her husband, Mark, are raising two beautiful, witty and athletic adult children. She loves travel, outdoor water sports, music and reading. She is also known for breaking into song, showing her love of a good musical while giving her clients a unique and entertaining experience.
